TEMI In-House Seminars are one week intensive seminars that take place at Little America Headquarters in Fukuoka. This teaching program is a compilation of successful techniques, strategies and lessons, which have been developed over the past twenty years based upon our experiences of teaching English to Japanese, ranging from children to adults.

If you are new to the world of teaching English, you can benefit from our many years of experience teaching English in America, Europe and Japan. It is our staff's intent to share with you our expertise which will enable you to create successful lessons in the classroom to the degree that your students and you will enjoy interacting in English, no matter what their age or level is.

If you are an experienced teacher, this program will hopefully validate your current achievements and give you many new ideas on how to move forward in a refreshingly positive direction, which you, in turn, can hopefully share with your colleagues.

TEMI's one week intensive includes the above plus observation and team teaching of Little America's classes, reading, reviewing Little America's teaching manual, orientation and consultation with Sohei and  Helene J Uchida TEMI’s founders), attending teachers' meetings, and reviewing TEMI Seminar videos and DVDs.

Your week with Little America is from Tuesday to Saturday from 11:30-8:00PM with 30 minutes for lunch. Feel free to take a look at the sample schedule. If we can help you with hotel accommodations, or if we can answer any further questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

In-House Seminars are conducted primarily in English.
